The only problem with that is that 80% of people who make a new years resolution to get fit or in shape, fail within the first two weeks. that statistic is over 95% drop there new years resolution within 4 weeks. The problem with America is that whatever we want, we want it now and we want it fast. They see they do not turn there body around within two weeks so they just give up and go back into there ways.

The problem isn’t the ketogenic diet plan, or the keto diet at all, the problem is us. Lets face it, working out is hard and cardio sucks. Some news to lighten things up is you can make is not boring anymore. If you were to stick to a diet regimen and not stray, your body will get used to what your making it deal with. Though the two couple weeks is granted the hardest, once you get over the hill it is not as bad. Get into a routine where you can go to the gym and exercise at least 3 times a week. By getting into a routine your ketogenic diet will melt your fat away. A very important thing to consider is consistency. If you are consistent with your ketogenic diet and exercise while in ketosis, there is no reason at all why you shouldn't fail. One urge that won't go away as easy is your dieting habits.

Lets face it, your body did not get the way it is now overnight. The weight that you have packed in your gut, thighs and butt developed over a long period of time. Now besides certain medical conditions, poor eating habits will make you gain weight. The simple math is that you ate more calories than your body was burning and as a result of no ketosis, you slowly gained weight. As you enter into ketosis, the ketogenic diet plan will get easier because you will see the differences in your body, energy and mindset. As your are choosing what you eat, it will still be hard to not have any carbs but you must stay determined.

Some things to help you stay on your ketogenic diet are as follows:

  • When it's late and you feel like eating something sweet and bad for your ketogenic diet plan, pick up some beef jerky and munch on that until your urge goes away.
  • If you don’t feel like going to the gym in the middle of the week, look at a before picture and tell yourself "I want to look better than that!", this will help you stay in ketosis.
  • And Lastly, if you fall out of ketosis, don’t just quite everything. Get to the gym and burn off those carbs you ate so you can jump right back in.

Some people are more determined than other and have more will power to stay on the ketogenic diet plan. You must not beat yourself up if you fall out of it by eating carbs or sweets. Instead, pick yourself back up and tell yourself that you can do it. Don’t let anyone tell you that you cant lose weight. If you stick to the ketogenic diet plan until you reach your weight loss goals, you will feel a great accomplishment and long term benefits.
